A model of a world is not yet a world.
We are getting better at making places that behave. That changes how the cosmic question feels. It does not settle it.
A world implemented computationally may still be a world.
These are different questions.
When does it become inhabited?

Weather. Rockets. Cars. Climate. Games. World models that generate places you can look around in. These are instruments. They answer: what might happen.

A place someone is in. Objects that persist. Other subjects. Time that can be wasted. Pain that is not a report about pain.
The simulations we already trust are the ones physics can fail. If angular momentum is not conserved, the run is wrong. That is the opposite of a movie.
